5 Days Gorilla Tracking and Wildlife Tour

This five days tour starts and ends in Kampala-Uganda, taking you to Bwindi impenetrable forest National park for memorable gorilla tracking and Queen Elizabeth national park for wildlife viewing.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

In the morning, you will drive southwestwards to Bwindi National park, with stopover in Mbarara town for lunch. Continue the scenic drive to Kabale town, also known as the "Switzerland of Africa". Later transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Dinner and Overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp (Luxury)/ Silverback Lodge (Mid range)/Buhoma community bandas(Budget).

Day 2: Gorilla tracking and community walk.

In the morning, assemble at the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers about the dos and don'ts while with the gorillas. Proceed for the memorable adventure in the forest, an activity that may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the animals. Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour, then descend to the park headquarters and then to your Lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you may go for community walk in the nearby Batwa community, where you will be entertained and told the tales of their unique culture. Dinner and overnight at your hotel (Day 1)

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

In the morning, you will set off to QENP passing via Ishasha sector where you will have game drives to view tree climbing lions, variety of bird species. Reach the park early enough for lunch. In the aftertoon, gather at the Kazinga channel for a boat cruise along the channel where you will be rewarded with view of game as Hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants as well as a variety of birds. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (luxury)/Kyambura game lodge (mid range)/Ihamba Lodge (Budget).

Day 4: Game drive and Nature walk.

Early morning, you will wake up to go for game drives to catch up with early risers before returning to their hiding places. You will encounter game as lions, hyenas, bush bucks, elephants among others. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast, and lunch. Later go for forest nature walk in Maramagambo forest where you will encounter a variety of bird and plant species. Visit the bat caves and enjoy the python catch the bats around. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Kampala.

In the morning after your breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura godge where you will encounter other primates as colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons among others. Later, you will set off your journey back to Kampala with stopovers for photography and lunch reaching late in the afternoon, and you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight or to the airport for your departure flight.
